Competition and cooperation are the two major themes of the today's world economy. In the industry economy epoch, enterprise competitive dominance originated from the resources they have and the ability of technical innovation; but in the network economical epoch, the long-term monopolist profits that the resources and the technology bring have been broken by the development of network technology and information technology. Therefore, in the new economical epoch, construction of the enterprise new competitive dominance cannot embark only from the enterprise interior resources and technology, but also regard the economical relations between the enterprise and its beneficial related entity as well as studying and applying the social relations. The enterprise's relationship resource can be regarded as one kind of new capital reform and the impact of management of relationship capita will play vital role in the construction of the new competitive dominance.Relationship capital theory has been the most important achievement of theories since 1970s. It mainly studies of people and people's extension---relations, putting the regulation factors,value judgment,and cultural impact into the framework of economics, making many factors which are not considered but in fact has influenced economic development get into people's vision, greatly expanding the scope of the economic management.Because of the uniqueness of the relationship capital and its difficulty to imitate and substitute, building the competitive advantage based on the relationship capital will contribute to long-term development of the enterprises. This thesis mainly studies of the economic relationship between enterprises and their stakeholders. From relation to relationship capital and its value, we deeply analyze the meaning,characteristics,elements,factors of relationship capital and composition of its value. We analyze and explain the role of the relationship capital in the process of building the competitive advantage of the enterprise and how to build the advantage. A theory model of the competitive advantage of the enterprise based on the relationship capital is also built. At last, we give the constructive suggestions that how to manage the relationship capital between the enterprise and shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers and governments.The main research content and analytical framework is as follows:In chapter 1, the background and significance of this topic is given. A comprehensive theory study about relationship capital and competitive advantage of enterprise at home and abroad is made. We also give the research content, research method, research aim and theoretical contributions.In chapter 2, a review and new development about relationship capital and competitive advantage of enterprise is given first, we give original the meaning of relationship capital in literature, and then, we give a new definition based on it. The relationship between competitive advantage of enterprise and relationship capital is also discussed. At last, the role of the relationship capital in building competitive advantage of enterprise is explained.In chapter 3, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the value of relationship capital is given. In qualitative analysis, the humanities of the value of relationship capital are analyzed at the aspects of intensity and density. In quantitative analysis, a cash model measuring the value of relationship capital is rebuilt.In chapter 4, the theory model of the competitive advantage of the enterprise based on the relationship capital is built.In chapter 5, how to build the competitive advantage of enterprise based on the relationship capital is discussed. Some constructive suggestions that how to mange the relationship capital between the enterprise and shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers and governments are also given.In chapter 6, the conclusion about the viewpoints and contributions in this paper is made. The future research direction is also given in this chapter.The innovation of the paper is lighted and lain in:(1) The paper tries to make a new definition of the relationship capital. The definition is further explained in four levels.(2) The paper builds the theory model of competitive advantage of the enterprise based on the relationship capital, which is the relationship model about enterprise and its stakeholders.
