Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Treatment Of Diabetes Symmetry Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective:To observe the effect of the puncture treatment of symmetrical diabetes peripheral neuropathy and apply a better and more effective method for the disease.Methods:60 patients were randomly grouped to treated group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases).In addition to basic hypoglycemic medication,the treated group is by puncture;the control group is cured by methycobal (Mecobalamin). once daily,2 days rest, with 10 sessions being one the course, and 3 courses all together. Check the changes of symptoms,and the speed of the never transfer.Results:1.After treatment, both groups can reduce the score of clinical symptoms and MDNS of diabetic symmetrical peripheral neuropathy patients (P<0.01), treated group was superior to control group (P<0.01);2.After treatment, both groups can improve the conduction velocity of bilateral tibial nerve (P<0.01), treated group was superior to control group (P<0.01);3.The total effective rate of the acupuncture group 90.00%.The control group was 76.67%. Statistical analysis shows that there are significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture therapy and methylcobalamin treatment can improve the neurological signs of the patients,and improve the conduction velocity of bilateral tibial nerve. The effect of acupuncture therapy is affiremative, and superior methylcobalamin treatment.
