In this paper,90 patients with Coronary Angina Pectoris (CAP) were randomly assigned to receiving Xin Tong Ling- II (XTL- II )(3 OPatients), receiving Xin Tong Ling- I (XTh-I)(30 Patients),and receiving Isosorbide Dinitrate(ID)(30Patients)for 3 weeks. The results showed:1... The total effective rate of XTL- II on improving clinical symptoms of patients with CAP was 90.00% and very superior to that of XTL- I and ID (P<0.05 and P<0.0 1).2 XTL- II could markedly alleviate pain of patients with CAP. The totaleffective rate was 86.67%, showing significantly higher advantage over XTLI and ID (P<0.05 and P<0.0 1).L XTL- II could improve electrocardiogram (ECG) of patients with Myocardial ischemia.4~. XTL- II could significantly decrease the dosage of nitroglycerin of patients with CAP. The discontinue rate of nitroglycerin was 83.33%, showing very higher advantage over XTL-I and ID (P<0.05 and P<0.0 1).5 XTL- II could markedly decline the concentration of plasma endothelin (ET), elevate the concentration of serum nitric?oxide(NO), regulate the balance of ET/NO to prevent injuries of vascular endothelial cells. The actions implied that it was a possible protective agent of cardiovascular endothelial cells.6.. XTL- II possessed the actions on significantly improving left ventricular diastolic and systolic dysfunctions of patients with CAP, and elevating the levels of SV.. CO.. CL.. EF.. E, which was very superior to that of XTL- I and ID(P
