According to the symptoms of cerebral infarction and the traditional chinese medicine(TCM) theory to the windstroke ,the thesis mainly study the cerebral infarction clinically and laboratorially. From the clinical practice, we discover that blood stasis , endogenous phlegm and wind are the main pathogenic factors which cause the cerebral infarction. The pathogenic tache mainly is combination of blood stasis and endogenous phlegm. However, that the endogenous wind upward to the brain and integration with blood stasis ,endogenous phlegm and wind can make the disease more complicated. The acute period of cerebral infarction are main the excess symptoms which the pathologic characteristic is endogenous phlegm and wind blood stasis block inside and qi and blood stagnation. The principles of treatment are promote the blood circulation ,resolve the phlegm and eliminate the endogenous wind. According to the principles, we developed the Tian Hong Tong Mai Oral Liquid to treat the acute period of cerebral infarction. We clinically observed 88 cases of acute period of cerebral infarction which are divide into treatment group and control group. The treatment group contains 46 cases which the total effective rate is 91.3% .The control group includes 42 cases which the total effective rate is 76.1 90/o.The two groups are obviously different statistically(p
