Now we were researching this drug according to the national new-drugs, including pharmaceutical technology, quality standard, stability test, pharmacology experiment and so on. Therefore, it provides the scientific proof for its clinic effect.In the way of pharmaceutical technology researching, the exactionprocess for Rhizoma Coptis was studied. The optimum process was chosen by L9(34) orthogonal test. The optimum process was as follow: 10 times amount of 60% ethanol, refluxing and extracting for 3 times, 1h every times for rhizoma coptis. As a precious Chinese herb, Sanguis Draxonis was chosen to use the super micro-powder technology. Hirudo was firstly marinated with ethanol, then exacted with water. Rhizoma Bletille was made into capsule, then resolved with PVA on warm water, adding the else exactions and the alcohol solution of Sangnis Draxonis into it, the plaster was completed.In aspects of the quality standard and stability test: we investigated the use of TLC on the separation and identification for Rhizoma Coptis, Sangnis Draxonis and Rhizoma Bletille in the "ChuangYuLing Plaster". The content of berberine chloride in the "ChuangYuLing Plaster" was determined by HPLC. The results showed that the method was simple, special and accurate, it could exact as a reliable base for quality control of this preparation. In order to inspect stability of "ChuangYuLing Plaster",the room temperature and the accelerate test for three months had been carried out. The results showed that every index mark were normal in the experiment period.The pharmacology experiment study showed that: "ChuangYuLing Plaster" had evident inhibition on some bacteria. By the agar-induced granulution test, the results of analgesic experiments showed that "ChuangYuLing Plaster" had remarkable anti-inflamatory affect. The skin-senstived and skin-stimulated tests were studied. The results showed that "ChuangYuLing Plaster" had no stimulation on the skin and lower toxic.The research work was under the direction of the theories of Chinese traditional medicine external therapy, and united with modern preparation technology to exploit a kind of lower dosage, good application, lower cutaneous anaphylasis and converient new dosage form, which could lay the foundations of creating more social benefit and economical benefit.
