| Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of treating ulcerative colitis(UC) with Kui-Jie-Fang and explore the mechanism of treating ulcerative colitis with Kui-Jie-Fang and explore the mechanism from theoretical and clinical aspects.Method: 60 cases with UC are divided into two groups at random. Kui-Jie-Fang is given treatment group, and at the same time SASP is given control group.Results: The totally effective rate of treatment group come to 90.0%, while that of control group is 73.33%, and there is a significant difference between the treatment group and control group (P<0.05). Treatment group can improve significantly the symptoms such as diarrhea, tenesmus, the scorch of anus, bellyache, abdominal distension, and the curative effect is better than that of control group.Conclusion: Kui-Jie-Fang is a safe and effective drug of treating UC,and the mechanism might be related to regulation immunologic function, anti-oxygen free radicle injury, accelerating ulcerative recovery, adjustment alteration of intestinal flora, improvement blood circulation of intestinal canal and systematic symptoms. |
