Reinforcing Kidney Yin And Yang Method (gengnian Anshen Capsules) Treatment Wai Clinical Study Of The Menopausal Syndrome (kidney Yin Deficiency)

Objective:To observe the effect and safety of Geng-Nian- An-Shen capsule in treating perimenopausal syndrome(yin and yang deficiency of kidney pattern),to provide scientific support for the exploitation of Geng-Nian- An-Shen capsule,during searching for a Chinese medical formula with high efficiency and low side-effeCt.Methods:60 patients suffered by perimenopausal syndrome(yin and yang deficiency of kidney pattern) are chosen and respectively divided into test group(30 patients) and control group(30 patients)with the random,double-blind,double- simulation,positive control method. 26 patients of test group were treated continually with Geng-Nian- An-Shen capsule for two months;30 patients of control group with-Geng-Nian-Ning-Xin capsule,The clinical symptoms, changes in endocrine system and the safety of the two medicines were observed after two months treatment.Results:1.General effect:the evident cure rate of test group is 57.14%,54.17%for control group, the total effective rate of test group is 90.84%,95.83%for control group,which has no significance according to statistics between two groups(p＞0.05).2.The main Symptoms effect:The accumulated scores of clinical symptoms (chao-re-han-chu) each group declined evidently,and significant difference exists comparing with that of the symptoms patients have before treatment(p＜0.05),but the opposite result was gotten between two groups(p＞0.05);the evident cure rate of test group is 42.86%,41.67% fou control group,the total effective rate of test group is 66.67%,87.5%for control group, which has no significance according to statistics between two groups(p＞0.05).3.Hormone level:The declining tendency was observed for the content of FSH and LH of the two groups after treatment,but,statistical significance was not gotten in comparing the difference between groups or single group(P＞0.05 ),while the content of E2 increased in the test group,but,there is no stastistical significance(P＞0.05),the content of E2 in the control group is even. 4.Safety analysis:The results of blood routine test,urinary routine test,stool routine test, liver function test,kidney function test and ECG test of patients are normal before and after treatment,which indicates Geng-Nian- An-Shen capsule has no poison-effect and side-effect.Conclusion.Geng-nian-an-shen capsule is effective and safe in treating perimenopausal syndrome(yin and yang deficiency of kidney pattern),can better the clinical symptoms evidently,and improve the level of sex hormone in a certain degree.it is safe and effective for clinical application,It is worth further researching and spreading widely to clinical application.
