Clinical Observation Of Yiqi Yangyin Gengnian Decoction In The Treatment Of Qi And Yin Deficiency Type Menopausal Syndrome

Menopause syndrome is a common disease occurring in pre and post-menopause woman.Its main symptoms include menstrual disorders,tidal fever and sweating,irritability,insomnia,forgetfulness,dizziness,tinnitus,back pain,dysphoria in chestpalms-soles and other recent symptoms,while distant symptoms are represented by osteoporosis,urogenital atrophy,Alzheimer's disease,and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Western medicine believes that the occurrence of this disease is mainly related to the gradual decline of ovarian function and the fluctuation or reduction of sex hormones.Western treatment focuses on hormone therapy and symptomatic treatment.Chinese medicine has significant therapeutic effect on the treatment of menopausal syndrome.Compared with the high risk of hormone treatment,Chinese medicine treatment has obvious advantages.The disease in Chinese medicine is called "Jing Duan Qian Hou Zhu Zheng".Traditional medicine believes that the occurrence of this disease is caused by the "deficiency of kidney" and "failure of tian gui",which has a close relationship with the liver,heart and spleen.The clinical treatment of syndrome differentiation is various.After many years of clinical practice,Professor Wei Aiping discovered that Qi and Yin deficiency are common in these patients with menopausal syndrome,especially postmenopausal menopausal syndrome.Treatment with Yi Qi Yang Yin Geng Nian formula has the good effect.Objective:Observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Yi Qi Yang Yin Geng nian formula on menopausal syndrome,which could provide references for clinical treatment of menopausal syndrome.Methods:42 patients diagnosed with postmenopausal menopause syndrome with symptoms of Qi and Yin Deficiency were included satisfied with the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria.General data were collected before treatment for evaluating the modified Kupperman score,the Menopausal syndrome(TCM)rating scale,and the Menopause-Specific Quality of Life(MENQOL).Questionnaire,detected serum sex hormone levels from some patients.Receive Yi Qi Yang Yin Geng Nian formula treatment for 4 weeks.After treatment,the modified Kupperman score,menopausal syndrome(TCM)rating scale,the Menopause-Specific Quality of Life(MENQOL)score,and serum sex hormone levels of some patients were evaluated.Evaluate each score and analyze the changes in sex hormone levels for assessing the efficacy of treatment.Results:1.Based on the modified Kupperman score analysis,the Yi Qi Yang Yin Geng Nian Fang treatment of the disease can improve symptoms of menopause and 41 cases were total effective,the total effective rate was 97.62%.1 case clinical control(2.38%).13 cases visible effective(30.95%),27 cases effective(64.29%),and 1 case invalid(2.38%).Individual symptoms which have the highest total effective rate are fatigue and lacking of strength(98%),tidal fever and sweating(95.24%),insomnia(95%).After analyzing the menopausal syndrome(TCM)rating scale,Yi Qi Yang Yin therapy has significantly improved the symptoms of TCM,P<0.01.2.After analyzing MENQOL,the results demonstrate that the four dimensions of survival quality in postmenopausal patients,vasomotor diastolic dimension,psychological dimension,physiological dimension,and sexual life dimensions are significantly improved,P<0.01.3.After comparing serum sex hormone levels of 8 patients in before-after data,serum FSH,LH,E2 had no significant changes in before the treatment after each dose,P>0.05,but serum FSH,LH had a decreasing trend,and E2 had a rising trend.4.According to correlation analysis,we found that there are no correlation between efficacy and age,efficacy and course of disease,efficacy and year of postmenopause.Conclusion:Yi Qi Yang Yin Geng Nian formula has significant therapeutic effect on postmenopausal syndrome,which has significantly improved the clinical symptoms of menopausal syndrome.With the improvement of clinical symptoms,the patient's life quality in vasomotor diastolic dimension,psychological dimension,physiological dimension,and sexual life dimension can be significantly improved.The treatment of menopause syndrome with Yi Qi Yang Yin Geng Nian formula has no significant effect on the changes of serum FSH,LH,E2,but there is still an improved trend.In summary,Yi Qi Yang Yin Geng Nian Fang has a significant effect on the treatment of menopausal syndrome and is worthy of clinical application.
