Objective:Through observing the result of Radix Glycyrrhizae Ginseng Decoction and Omeprazole to the patient of hemorrhagic shock that is because of peptic ulcer,this paper tries to verify that the combination treatment project of traditional and western medicine has peculiarity and dominantposition to dangerously ill and emergency case.Methods:The paper divided the patients of hemorrhagic shock and excessive bleeding followed by exhaustion of vital energy in two groups.All the patients were treated with general treatment.In addition,the patients in the cure group were treated with Radix Glycyrrhizae Ginseng Decoction and Omeprazole;but the patients in the control group were treated with Omeprazole only.All the patients were cured for 7 days.Indexes evaluated were following:body temperature,heart rate,blood pressure,breath,rugitus, mind,urine volume,haemoglobin,red blood count,blood urea nitrogen, sedes occult blood test and symptoms in TCM.Results:It seemed that the cure group has the better ecurative effect,In addition,there were significant differences in the cure group in stopping bleeding,improving the symptoms in TCM,stabilizing patient's condition.Conclusions:The research indicated the combination treatment of traditional and western medicine had better advantages in promoting hemostasis,improving symptoms than the treatment of western medicine.The results not only showed the advantages of TCM in hemorrhagic shock that was because of peptic ulcer, but also showed the theory of benefiting vital energy and stopping bleeding was scientific and pragmatic.
