In my diploma work, I have researched and studied the process of learning Chinese language, and influence of body language to this process. As an international student I have realized that it is a complex process. It doesn't include only learning grammar and words but also learning to understand the culture through the language. How to teach international students to Chinese language;moreover, to help to understand new culture? This question has to be concerned by every teacher who deals with international students. I am planning to teach international students for Chinese language and this subject definitely brought my attention. In my opinion, using body language in process of teaching Chinese language can be very helpful. For instance, when a student doesn't understand a new word a teacher can explain him or the word with his expressions. A teacher who can use body language proficiently can help an international student to understand a culture as well. However, we can't state that all the body languages are same. From my own experience I have found that they are certain similarities and differences in Kazakh and Chinese body languages. My diploma work consists of six body paragraphs where I precisely describe the meaning, role, elements, and influence of nationality in body language. I hope it will be very useful guideline for teachers who help to learn Chinese language for students who are from Kazakhstan.
