In fact, nonverbal communication serves as a complement to verbal communication and even replaces verbal communication.Body language is an important part of nonverbal communication and plays an important part in Chinese teaching. It’s helpful to verbal communication and makes it perfect. This essay introduces body language briefly first and talks about the classification of body language. And then introduces the function of body language in Chinese teaching, as well as its concrete application in phonetic teaching, Chinese character teaching, vocabulary teaching and grammar teaching. The final part is the main part of the essay-the survey and design of body language application in Chinese teaching.
