Body language is a means of nonverbal communication, it can replace part of the speech act to convey information, communicate feelings. In this paper, based on the literature research, first summarized the body language classification of international Chinese teaching, combining my record of the live Chinese course, to analysis Chinese teachers' body language. This article embarks that body language plays a part in the action, in turn, body language can be divided into four categories,facial expression, sign language, posture language and head language, and then analyzed the usage of these four types of non-verbal communication.Based on gender, class, teaching experience, the students' Chinese level these four perspective, this paper selected six teachers' teaching videos from more than 20 teaching videos. Each teacher's video is about 100 minutes long, I removed the parts of exercisesing and check homework to focus on the interception of typical lectures. Each section of the video is about 30 minutes.after the detail comparative analysis on the six teachers' teaching videos I had following conclusions:Novice Chinese teachers use less facial expressions than master teachers, this is proportional to the teaching experience,and Novice teachers have much more invalid posture language than master teachers.The usage of posture language between two kinds of teacher is of no difference, posture language is the potentially effective body language, but when a teacher has too many posture languages, it will potentially become invalid body language, which is not conducive to the Chinese teaching.Compared with the senior, junior stage Chinese classes,obviously sign language of the auxiliary teaching is more effective. The reason is because the sign language can simulate practice some simple movements, so it is really conducive to the students' learning of words and phrases; Sign language is a kind of conscious teaching body language, has the characteristics of autonomy and purpose.In the primary stage, the frequency of teachers use sign language is higher than in the advanced stage teaching, this is because the auxiliary function of the sign languages is more obvious in the primary stage.the study still needs to be furthered, collection a lot of video information will be needed.the teaching function, teaching effect and class organization and management,these three Angle is closely combined with teachers' body language research. This thesis is To help Chinese teachers especially the novice Chinese teachers gain Better body language usage,while also puts forward Suggestions on Chinese teachers 'training.
