Research shows that the current mental health situation of many students is not optimistic. High school students have entered the early stage of youth. It's an important period in their physical and mental development. Along with this development, the expansion of their social experience and the changes in their way of thinking, they will inevitably encounter all kinds of problems. Unless these problems are solved timely, they will certainly have a negative influence on their growth, what's the worse, they can lead to some students'Behavior disorders or personality defects.In this paper, we use the result of sampling part of the students in No. 1 Middle School of Chengyang Districe according to MSSMHS. It shows as the following.:1. The overall mental health status of high school students is not optimistic. Comparing boys and girls, boys'are better than girls'.2. The top 5 problems are pressure of study, mood unbalance, bad adaptive capacity, obsession, and anxiety. Big pressure of study is seen both on boys and girls.3. There is obvious gender difference on mental health status of high school students. The overall situation of girls is worse than that of the boys, which should be highly concerned.Besides the questionnaire, we also use interviewing and case analysis to study the reason of high school students'mental problems mainly from three aspects --- family, school and society.To solve these problems, I suggest that the school should do the following jobs:Establish a leadership of school metal health education and improve the formation of the service system.;Focus on psychological quality of teacher and enhance the mental health education ability of the teacher; Maintain the Home-school cooperation promote the healthy growth of students.
