This paper discusses the classroom teaching strategies of Teaching Chinese to Younger Learners (TCYL). It compares the differences between traditional teaching and differentiated teaching methods to demonstrate and analyze the benefits of implementing Gardner's Multiple Intelligences in TCYL differentiated classroom teaching methods.This paper describes the TCYL differentiated classroom teaching methods adopted in a Grade 4 class of an international school in Shanghai. It aims to give reasonable suggestions on TCYL classroom teaching according to the experimental results.The report displays the TCYL classroom teaching methods and its advantages that could be a reference for further understanding of Gardner's Multiple Intelligences in TCYL and more exploration of classroom teaching methods for TCYL.
