AbstractScience Fiction by science criterion is something quite unusual.Science and fantasy are two standards in distinguishing Science Fiction.When we weight the value of Science Fiction, we must put aside therequirement that the works content must accord science illation rigidly.We should estimate the value of works by literary criterion.Because of the characteristic of Chinese ancient civilization, Chinese ancient Science Fiction usually intermixes in mythology. People think some myth works is belong to Science Fiction. Sometimes people think those ancient Science Fictions are myth. With comparing, we can peel off ancient Science Fiction from the mythology by the new criterion.The introduction of Modem Science Fiction and the characteristic of the social in the later Qing Dynasty are important factor of the Chinese modem Science Fiction's appearance. Lu Xun and some theorist claimed Science Fiction could be used in the prevalence of science. The creation of Science Fiction in the mainland of China fell down to Children's Literature. Science Fiction that New Generation?writer wrote in Taiwan became Pure Science Fiction.
