There exist male and female since human came into being. The two sexes notonly have obvious dissimilities in physiology development but also objectivelyhave some dissimilities in psychology development and behaviour manner, hencesome diffevences exist in the fine arts activities. Therefore, we must attachimportance to these Sexual Dissimilities and consider different teaching strategies.For a long time this matter has been somewhat neglected, but with thedevelopment of Sexual Dissimilities research national and abroad, the importanceof which has been gradually realised and such Differential Teaching orientedmeasures have been taken in the fine arts activities, what's more, in the fine artscreation even emerges the so č…¸alled `Female Arts' which takes the starting pointfrom the Sexual Dissimilities. In the present fine arts circle there have variouskinds of views on the Sexual Dissimilities, some artists'strongly favor it, in the so-called `Female Arts', some female artists do not show strong femaleconsciousness in their arts, some artists think the present `Female Arts' is not theFemale Arts in its genuine sense, other artists think there is no sex distinctionamong arts and the Female Arts does not exist. In the views of this phenomenon,this article combs views of the present fine arts circle and theory circle on the2sexual Dissimilities and Female Arts, and elaborates the characteristics of the?fine arts of the two sexes according to the science research results of thephysiological and psychological dissimilities of the two sexes resulted fromthree demensions: dissimilities of chromosome inheritance traits, dissimilities ofthe funtional specialization of the two hemespheres of the brain, and dissimilities?of the sex glad hormore. The author holds that the Sexual Dissimilities are bornand unchangeable. This phenomenon exists among the fine arts activities, but ithas long been neglected in the .fine arts education in which the Non-differential?Teaching has long been practised. This is incompatible with the real situation ofthe two sex dissimilities in the fine arts education. Therefore, we should pay moreattention to and carry out researches on this field and advocate the Differential?Teaching; Besides, this article also comments on the fine arts circles s views on theFemale Arts and Differential Teaching.NOTES:I.The dissimilities which are discussed in this article(physiologically, psychologically andin the fine arts activities) are not absolute but only relative.II.This article holds that the Sexual Dissimilities only have meanings in the analysis oftendency but not in the analysis of individuals, that is, this dissimility realization can not show?the real condition of each individuals(neither male nor female).
