Defense Inductive problem or defense enlarging inference problem in the larger com-mon sense is first put forward by Flume, who gained eternal place in philosophy because ofthe problem. Inductive problem hps been always regarded as such a difficult philqsophicproblem that it never goes too far to call it 揋ode incompleteness Theorem ?of philoso-phy. Directed by dialectical materialism, this text takes its responsibility to carry fQrwardscience and develop knowledge. By using and analyzing the documents, the text com-ments on the construction of inductive principal by three great philosophers who answeredHume?s problem (they all belong, to classical inductive logician) At the same time, itpoints out that inductive problem has not been solved as a philosophic problem. There are five chapters in the textChapter 1 analyzes the character of Flume抯 philosophy which is philosophically basedon perception. The logic starting point of Flume?s problem is his classification of knowl-edge. People?s percept of Flume抯 problem is from two directions to try to answer it anddevelop it. But no matter which dfrection it develops to, we must solve two main tasks ofinductive logic.Chapter 2 introduces Mill抯 theory of inductive logic. Putting emphasis on analyzingand commenting on its inductive logic idea., the condition of the universal law of the causeand effect and Principle of uniformity nature. It points out that because of the limitationof themselves, it抯 hard to assure that causal laws can become effective even if all the in-ductive principals take effect.Chapter 3 introduce Russell?s inductive theory. It comments on Russell inductivetheory, the relationship between scientific postulates and inductive method. On this basis,it demonstrates that the model pattern such as Russell inductive theory can not be thegrounds of, nor it can solve the inductive problem: it just stays on the level of hypothe-sis.Chapter 4 By intensively reading Jin yuelin?s 揼eneral Receptism? shows that Mr.4.J in find the crux of Hume?s Problem and write out a prescription of apriori inductive prin~cipal which is conditioned by never ending the time. It also review on un?s explanation ofapriori inductive principal and his demonstration on the universally effective inductiveprincipal. In the author?s opinion, there are two arguments to refute Jin?s assumedmethod to solve Hume?s Problem, and un?s demonstration still can not give the inductivedefense enough credibility.Chapter 5 coordinates with Hume?s classification of knowledge. It point out thatHume Problem?s starting point is also classification of knowledge and refute Hume?s ideathat knowledge of perception such as mathematics and logic is certain. It says that all ofthe knowledge can be converted and the truth of whatever knowledge just exists in thecertain condition. This is conclusion of the text.
