To sum up the previous research achievements on double-verbed sentence, we find it necessary to go deep into the study of the double-verbed sentence as V1O+V2P. Therefore, this paper deal with the research into double-verbed sentence. We describe and analyze it from the view of syntax, semantics, pragmatics, context and transformation" .This present paper make an initial investigation into the materials on the double-verbed sentence, and seek its way from into point of view. We find that double-verbed sentence has been existed in the literary works of Ming Dynasty. As its development, nowadays, this structure has been in common use in modern spoken Chinese.In syntax structure, there are two types of double verbed sentence structure as unmarked and marked. That is V1O+V2P structure(unmarked), and the marked one includes"V1OV2P 得 structure,V1OV2P 到 structure,V1OV2P 了 structure, V1OV2P 了个 structure," and so on.This paper also investigates the characteristics and imitation of predicate verb object, adverbial and as well the negative form of double-verbed sentence structure, which will help us have a further and better understanding of this sentence structure. Double-verbed sentence structure can also be used as a grammatical structure acting as a component of a comparatively one, it can play the role of attribute, adverbial and predicate. There will be mentioned in the chapter Analysis of syntactic function of the double-verbed sentence.To analyze the grammar, one should describe the syntactic structure and at the same time carry out analysis of semantic meaning and make dynamic explanations on pragmatics . Only by this way, One can come to the fulfillment of research. In this view, this paper also discuss in three major points:(l) make a detailed description on what are the semantic relationship among ViO,V2P and the subject. (2) The "complement " in double-verbed sentence structure has a significant position in the sentence, we focus on it, try to know that under which condition, the semantics direct subject, predicate verb, object on both of them.(3) As special sentence structure, double-verbed sentence shows different pragmatic function : some have analyzing function, some display extraordinary results, degree, state or quantity; other function to emphasize. In the passage, on the one hand, the double-verbed sentence can achieve, the fulfillment of the semantic function and on the other hand it can form some semantic relationship within the context.In the last part of this paper, on the basis of the above-mentioned study, the author further defines the characteristics and context of this sentence structure, through varying among "把" sentence structure, "被"sentence structure and the double-verbed sentence structure.
