Double NP Sentence And Its Teaching Chinese To Speakers Of Other Languages

The paper, taking double number phrase sentence(short for “double NP sentence”) as study object, on the foundation of scholars' past and present research achievements, discussed the traits of double NP sentence from syntax, semantics and pragmatics, etc., then trying to design a set of feasible teaching program combined with second language teaching practice. Static, virtuality, continuity, generalization are its four primary semantic features. On the same time, it was divided into three types as matching sentence, price sentence, complex sentence; The fourth chapter is pragmatic analysis of double NP sentence. It talked over its translocation conditions, ambiguity, semantic as well as pragmatic characteristics of double NP sentence that its subject and object can not be interchanged; The fifth chapter is second language teaching practice research of double NP sentence. Second language teaching principles and teaching methods were come up, based on a set of teaching programs put forward, and the errors generating on the process of second language teaching were also analyzed; The sixth chapter is conclusion.
