Contemporary Cross-strait Word Differences Comparative Study

In order to compare the contemporary words of the standard Chinese common speech with Mandarin in Taiwan,the author selects an abundance of materials from three kinds of newspaper of Taiwan. The size of difference is to be tried to elucidate from a great deal of correlative data that have been collected and summed up. Based on this,the author makes a detailed classify. The reasons of difference have been revealed from three sides such as Mandarin and social psychology,it and Minnan-dialect,it and the vocabulary from foreign language. In this thesis,the author probes into the origin about some peculiar terms of Mandarin. At last,the author gives a description about some words of common speech which are absorbed by Mandarin.
