This paper make an analysis of Marx's thought of human as subject in his early works from the angle of Marx's research of the function of the thought of subject in social history, and an analysis of the influence on the West Marxist in twenty century. This paper has points as fallow: from the youth, Marx had studied of the function of the human subject in history. When he was in university, he was affected by the German classical philosophy and form his own thought of human subject. It was embodied in his doctoral dissertation paper. Marx thought that human has s character of "self consciousness".Marx's thought was characteristic of purely theory. It is a pure rational thought in this period. And it is the first stage of his Human Subject Thought.Along with the development of his social practice, Marx turned his research to the level of society and politics. It was embodied in the thought of nation, the relation of nation and individual, law and freedom. This is a period of "rational freedom". He was deeply affected by Kant's theory of Freedom and Hegel's theory of Nation. Therefore he thought that the nation should match the history reasonableness, and should establish on the foundation of the natural regulation of human rational. And laws were made in order to protect this kind of history rational. With he turned his study from pure theory to social reality, he found that human subject in reality did not exist and develop by the way of history reasonableness, but exist in a condition of a kind of "bad" "be", in a condition of "alienation of nature". It was mainly embodied in the alienation of politics and labor. The human subject exists in the contradictory of reality, nation and civil society, which couldn't mediate. In reality, man is realistic but not real man. In nation, man is a real but not realistic; the free labor is the innate character of man, but in actual labor, man is placed into the alienation situation of labor result, labor process, type nature and social interaction.Marx's early research of the human subject was the base of his thought concerning human in his later mature historical materialism. Owning to his research of the function of human subject from the beginning to the end, and his constant concern of reality, he finally established his historical materialism. It was not a theory that only see the material but not the man us the economy determinist thought. It was not as Alsace's thought that Marx is a humanist in early period and a materialist and scientist in middle and cote period. And it was not a pure humanism as Rucarchit regarded. It was a realistic and materialist theory that constant concerns the function of human subject. The thought of subject in his early works lay a solid philosophy foundation for his later mature historical materialism. It is the "inside core" of historical materialism..
