| This thesis goes into the features of the singing performance andits practice in the vocal solo .A singing performance functions as one of the crucial elements, which is a ttributed to the evaluation whether the vocal solo is successful or not, good orbad. It is also the main task of the arts of the vocal solo. The first part of this thesis focuses on the essence and features of the singing performance. It holds that a vocalist performs the character and presents the settings in the mu sic after analyzing the words, tune, subject of the opus and the ages, style, ch aracteristics of the composer and appreciating the feelings involved in the opus , which is the process to change the scores into sounds by the way of singing. A t the same time, this singing practice is also the continuity of the logic turni ng the spiritual matter into physical form. That is to say, a singing performanc e is the progress to make the scores that conveys the composer' s spirit and sup plies the audience with the internal hearing the substantial and material exhibi tions through the practice of singing. This thesis also comes to the conclusion in terms of the basic characters of the singing performance and some main princi pies, one of whichsticks to the point that voices originate from hearts and pres ent itself by emotions. Therefore, a singing performance should be not only madein accordance with the principle combining voices and emotions together, but al so based on the opus and unaffectedness. In addition, it should reproduce and rec reate the opus in areal vivid way according to the features of times.The practice of the singing performance is elaborated in the second art ofthe thesis. This part lays stress on the conclusion that vocalists should posse ss a comprehensive quality including better makings, knowledgeable ideas, and hi gher culture standard and obtain directly or indirectly rich life experiences th rough singing practice and explore deeply the infinite space of inditement, whic h is the decisive factor in the success of the singing performance. In addition,this part affirms the significance of establishing and cultivating the appropri ate taste for the vocal arts in the singing performance. Al1 the tastes are class ified into four sorts: the taste for voices, the taste for the feeling of music,the taste for emotions and the taste for figure.At last, this part explores the ways of dealing with the production withou t changing its originality or its style and different methods of treating differ ent products in different ages or styles. This thesis aims at making clear the im portant position and function in the singing performance, recognizing the specia lties of the performance and practicing various skills, techniques and methods t o perfect the performance by using the methods of induction, summarizing, sample s of scores and comparison. Thus, not only the opus itself but also the vocalist s' superiority in arts and their personal charming are presented to a full exte nt. Meanwhile, the performer has the opus utmost artistic, appreciable and aliveon the stage by offering it a strong and vigorous power. |
