Buddhism And Ideological Landscape Poetry Of Xie Lingyun

The Buddhism belief takes a exceptional position in the thoughts of Xie Lingyun,which of course is concerned with the general mood and the family influence,furthurmore Xie Lingyun believes Buddhism can not only save all living creatures,but help to mould and arouse one's soul and wiscom.For the sake of indulging in Buddhism,Xie Lingyun'poetries and proses has close relationship with Buddhism.Generally speaking,the influence that Buddhism makes to Xie Lingyun's poetries can be analyzed from the contents and the forms.On the contents,some works of Xie directly make Buddhism be the subbjet,some express the ideas of Buddhism in the described subbjects, the structure and the intention.On the form, the influence that Buddhism makes to Xie Lingyun's poetries include two aspects,the structure and the style.Xie's poetries structrue "scene-theory" is closed to the the words of the Buddhist Scriptures;Xie mixes several styles in his works,which comes from the Buddhist Scriptures.This paper devided into five parts discusses the relation between Buddhism and Xie Lingyun's thoughts and poetries.The first chapter analyzes Xie's belief in Pure Land,which leads to Xie's basic views on the nature.The secend chapter elaborates the traditional views of Buddhism,and how the theory of moulding mind of Buddhism influences Xie's writing.The third chpter discusses the relation between the Fa Shen theory of Hui Yuan and the writing of Xie.The forth chpter discusses the relation between the thoughts of Zhi Daolin/Dao An/Jiu Mo Luoshi and Xie.The fifth chpter analyzes how the Buddhist Scriptures influences Xie's poetries.
