Judgment. "shi"

The thesis selecte the masterpiece "Shi shuo xin yu" in period of Wei Jin Nan Bei Chao,as an investigation target,through analyzing and researching the type of the copula sentence in "Shi Shuo Xin Yu"to show the expression method of Wei Jin Nan Bei Chao .This paper discuss the problem from three aspects,first of all,we expound the related questions to the copula sentence,give the definition of it and inspect whether the "shi" as a copulative verb in Zhuzi's works.In the second part,we put the emphasis on the type of the copula sentence in "Shi Shuo Xin Yu" and sum up five kinds of expression ways of affirmative sentence.That is: "shi" copula sentence, "zhe, ye" copula sentence, "wei" copula sentence, " intention" copula sentence and copula sentence using adverbial copula.Negative copula sentence manily use adverb "fei".The third part analyse and compare the similarities and differences of the expression way of the copula sentence in "Shi Shuo Xin Yu" and "Mengzi", "Dun Huang Bian Wen",to show the develop course of the copula sentence from ancient times to early modern times.
