| This dissertation utilized archives and documentary to discuss the problem on ChongQing's shipping business at the initial stage of the Republic of China.The dissertation manifested mainly on these aspects as followings :The first part was the general situation of ChongQing's shipping business before the initial stage of the Republic of China. The second was the transportation's development of ChongQing's shipping business at the initial stage of the Republic of China.The third was the perfection of shipping manage system.The forth analyzed the effect of the foreigh shipping corporations on the ChongQing's shipping business . The fifth was to discuss the change of imports and exports trade.The sixth part was the cause,effcet and the enlightment brought by shipping business's booming.By the above five sections'discussion, the dissertation stated :the shipping business produced effection as the basis of traffic.First,it improved the poor transport situation in the shipping of Sichuan.Second,it has promoted ChongQing's economy to develop and the exchanges of goods with other places around it.Third,it has also promoted the further development of ChongQing's economy and society.Forth,it changed the construction of city and town aroud the upper reaches of Yangts River.By the research on the development of shipping business at the initial stage of the Republic of China,we can draw the following conclusions:First,the development of transportation must have a better damestic or internation environment.Second,the transportation is the basis of other business,however,we must develop the shipping business.Third,ChongQing must develop shipping business as the biggest cemter of business and trade of the upper reaches of Yangts River. |
