The complement of mandarin grammar, is not only the difficulty to foreigners on their mandarin study, but also the key research point in mandarin teaching for foreigners. A complement is used after an adnex to further explain the adnex. In Korean grammar, there is no similar syntax component to match the complement of mandarin grammar, which is one of the reasons why the adnex complement structure is thought difficult to be mastered by many students from South Korean. However, the more important reason is rested with the complexity within the structure itself. According to several elements of South Korean language such as its word order, word meaning, and language conception, the complement of mandarin is often translated into adverbial modifier or predicate. In some cases, a complement is omitted when it is translated into Korean. So, to the South Koreans who learn mandarin, it is especially important to understand the grammar structures of both languages. In particular, the further understanding and research on the complement will deepen the overall understanding of whole grammar system of mandarin.This article mainly talks about the grammar structure difference between Chinese complement and Korean based on the survey of the students. This is a summary of frequently happening mistakes of Korean students while they are learning the mentioned Chinese language grammar, which leading to a discussion to help come out with constructive suggestions for the teachers who teach Korean students.Hopefully this could be helpful to the Korean students who will and are learning Mandarin, so they can avoid the mistakes of this kind.
