A study of the Acquisition of Chinese Directional Complement of Indonisia studentsComplement which is frequently used in Chinese plays an important role in teachingChinese as the second language, and it's difficult but necessary for foreigners to master it.Indonesian doesn't have the same structure so that the Indonesian students have manyproblems in studying it.Based on the statistics of corpus and questionnaire, the paper which makes acomprehensive and systematic analysis on the complement from students in different levers,from elementary level to middle level and to high level draw the conclusion as follows. Thepaper divides the complement error into five categories: misplacing objects; missing verbs;overusing complement; grammar mistakes and complement mistakes.The article also gives the reasons why the three level students make this kind of mistakes ofcomplement and also the characteristics of this kind of mistakes through languagetransplant, study strategies and the Chinese itself, and puts forward correspondingteaching strategy.
