Personality, Cognitive Style, Situation And Behavior Relationships

This study used experimentations to explore the relationship of the cognitive about the familiarity of the groupmember,personality traits,cognitive style and cooperation behavior. There were 111 college students in northeast normal university to take part in these experimentations which include three parts: QZPS(Qingnian Zhongguo Personality Scale)which is designed to exam one's personality traits; CSA(Cognitive Style Analysis) which is a program presented by computer to exam one's cognitive style(in this study, wholist-analytic style was used only); and a public goods dilemma game to exam one's cooperation behaviors. The results showed that:Some factors of personality traits could influence cooperate behavior directly, and also influence it by the effect of different familiarity cognitive and wholist-analytic cognitive style.Wholist-analytic cognitive style could not influence cooperate behavior directly, but could influence it by the effect of different familiarity cognitive and personality traits.The cognitive of different familiarity environment could influence cooperate behavior directly, and also influence it by the effect of some traits and wholist-analytic cognitive style.
