A Study Of The Influence Of Personality Traits On Entrepreneurial Self-efficacy

As economic globalization continues to deepen,the economic and employment problems faced by countries are also becoming more and more severe,which makes entrepreneurship and innovation become crucial.Entrepreneurship can promote economic development,stimulate economic growth,and is increasingly seen as a way to deal with global challenges.With the rapid development of science and technology,the ratio of jobs replaced by machines is increasing,the employment situation is grim,and the status quo of employment difficulties has gradually become a social issue.Resolving employment problems through self-employment is the most reliable and practical measure.Resolving employment problems through self-employment is the most reliable and practical measure.In entrepreneurial activities,the most important element of participation is entrepreneurs,so it is particularly relevant to understand how individuals develop into entrepreneurs.Individual entrepreneurship is influenced by its personality characteristics,social culture,and history.Personality factors play an important role in entrepreneurial activities.From the results of existing research on entrepreneurial self-efficacy,need for achievement,risk-taking,and entrepreneurial alertness are important personality characteristics affecting individual entrepreneurial self-efficacy.The previous studies on entrepreneurial self-efficacy did not provide a detailed analysis of the path of personality traits to entrepreneurial self-efficacy and the sample was single.Most of the relevant studies used samples of students and lacked empirical research to introduce the interpretation style into this model.This study takes individual personality traits as the starting point,entrepreneurial self-efficacy and explanatory style as the research content,combs and measures each variable,and proposes the theoretical model of this paper.Personality traits as explanatory variables,ie,independent variables,entrepreneurial self-efficacy as explained variables,ie dependent variables,explanatory styles as moderator variables,and establishment of structural equation models.The independent personality traits in the study consist of three dimensions: need for achievement,risk taking,and entrepreneurial alertness.The dependent variable entrepreneurial self-efficacy consists of four dimensions: management effectiveness,opportunity recognition effectiveness,risk tolerance effectiveness,and relationship effectiveness.Relevant,model-corrected fit indicators are all up to standard.Using the questionnaire method,the statistical analysis software SPSS22.0 and the structural equation model analysis software AMOS21.0 were used to analyze the data.The conclusions were as follows:(1)need for achievement have a significant positive effect on management effectiveness,risk tolerance and relationship effectiveness.Impacts,among which need for achievement to have the greatest impact on management effectiveness;(2)risk commitment has a significant positive impact on management effectiveness,risk tolerance effectiveness and relationship effectiveness,among which risk exposure has the greatest impact on risk tolerance effectiveness;(3)there is a significant positive effect of entrepreneurial alertness and recognition effectiveness and risk tolerance.Among them,entrepreneurial alertness has the greatest impact on the recognition of opportunity;(4)the explanatory style has a positive and positive adjustment to the relationship between achievement needs and entrepreneurial self-efficacy.It also significantly positively adjusts the relationship between risk taking and entrepreneurial self-efficacy,and significantly negatively regulates the relationship between entrepreneurial alertness and entrepreneurial self-efficacy.The conclusions of this study provide relevant management enlightenment for colleges and universities entrepreneurship education,entrepreneurial management,and potential entrepreneurial traits and abilities.
