In accordance with the sequence of description, interpretation andpragmatics, this paper studies particular linguistic phenomenon-thesentence of patient subject-on the basis of researching on a lot oflinguistic materials and analyzes the categories and traits of this collocation, the various factors which form and constrain the collocation as well as the expressive function of this collocation. This paper mainly includes:First, summarize the categories and traits of the sentence of "you gui" and the sentence of "zao shou" and generalize the essence of active.Second, summarize the categories and traits of the sentence of "bei" and the sentence of patent subject with no mark, and then analyze the semantic characters of them. Reveal the relationship between of the sentence of "bei" and the sentence of patent subject with no mark, and then classify the sentence of patent subject with no mark once again into the passive sentence but with no passive form mark.Third, generalize the type of the function of the narrow sense of the patient subject sentence. The function is to comment and to judge.Finally, summarize how the mechanism of this narrow sense of the patient subject sentence's can emerge and exist in Chinese language. In oracle bon inscriptions it comes into being since then, so it doesn't derive from the active sentence, but lives together with the active sentence. Why it can exist in modern Chinese language in large quantity is just because it can satisfy a simple sentence itself and the conciseness that the Chinese people cherish very much as well.
