Chinese And Japanese Homograph

All the world's languages belong to several interrelated language branches, and the branches can be divided into language groups, and then further divided into different language families. For example, Chinese belongs to the Chinese-Tibetan family. When Japanese is compared with other languages, there seems to be almost no correspondence, and the roots of Japanese continue to be a focus of debate. The grammar of Japanese is agglutinative, so that it seems to fit best as a different sub-family of the Chinese-Tibetan family. Despite this, China and Japan are part of the circle of countries that use Chinese characters, so that from ancient times their written languages and vocabulary have had countless ties. The focus of research for this thesis is the Japanese-Chinese homograph vocabulary, both in generalities and specifics, analyzing, comparing, researching and exploring homographs from the aspects of semantics, grammar, type of writing, vocabulary system, etc. At the same time we analyze the reasons for the production of homographs and positive and negative aspects in rhetoric, many times offering our own viewpoints. We endeavor to clarify the connotations and extended characteristics of homographs in both Chinese and Japanese, plus we look briefly at the development path of homographs.
