Creativity is ability of producing some production with novelty, originality and social or personal value, according to certain intention, using all information that we have perceived. One's creativity would be developed at a very fast speed in their high school, the high or low level of it in the future lied on development in the high school. So exploring the factors that influenced the development of high school students'creativity was important. In the factors that effect creativity, emotions were emphasized by investigator more and more, but the studies relating to basic emotion were little. There were some questions that should be explored even though some questions being studied, such as the effect of emotion on creativity was positive or passive. So we chose junior high school students as participants, explored the effect of fear on creativity. The dissertation included two studies, the date of the first study via questionnaires, we measured a sample of 335 city students and 495 country students using several scales. The second study was experimental validation: we used 2 ×2 two-factor randomized experiment design. A sample of 86 students was selected from grade 9 by randomly sampling. All the date was processed with SPSS10.0. The following conclusions were drawn from the research: (1) The general fear effected creativity significantly, the level of fear was higher, the level of and creativity was lower, but the influence on creative inclination was not significant. The different factor of fear had different influence on creative inclination and creativity: the level of factor two and factor three was higher, the level of creative inclination and creativity was lower; the level of factor five was higher, the level of creative inclination and creativity was higher; factor one and factor four had not influence on creative inclination and creativity. (2) factor three and creative inclination had interactive effect on creativity: factor three and adventure, imagination, challenge, creative inclination had not interactive effect on creativity. Factor three and curiosity had interactive effect on fluency and creativity, had not interactive effect on flexibility and originality. (3) factor three and factor five had influence on the creativity directly on the one hand, on the other hand these two factors had indirect influence via curiosity. (4) In successful scene of the second study, creative inclination of low fear level was higher than high level significantly, but fear and creative inclination had not interactive effect on creativity. In failing scene of the second study, creative inclination of low fear level was not significant; the effect of fear and creative on fluency was not significant; fear and creative inclination had interactive effect on fluency,but whether on the high creative inclination level or on the low level, the effect of fear was not significant.
