This thesis is main to discuss the formation and performance of the trustworthiness consciousness of Huizhou merchants in Ming-Qing Dynasty.Drived with the social factor in population, farm tax and the bad natural environment, multifarious nature disaster, Huizhou merchants go out to do business.In business activity, Huizhou merchants ,because of the influence of traditional Confucianism culture, especially the influence Cheng—Zhu Lixue plus higher culture character, stronger consciousness of laws and contracts in the perid of the middle- Ming Dynasty social transformation , quickly accept the social ideas that having changed In vigorous business competition, Huizhou merchants inherits the traditional business trustworthiness ethics, Regarding trustworthiness as the commercial golden rule and precious precept, pay attention to the prestige, value the fame with the moral qualities, obeying the reputation with promise, Huizhou merchants have expressed the higher trustworthiness consciousness in operating activity.Exactly this kind of trustworthiness in the management consciousness, turn over, help Huizhou merchants and Shanxi merchants claim leadership in the south-north Ming-Qing Dynasty .W ith the true colors of their Confucianism businessmen, Huizhou merchants follow to learn to the Confucianism theory in accordance with the business morals, and go into business but like to do the knowledge again.Doing business is to make much profits ,and leanering knowledge is for the sake of spirit that wins the fame. Huizhou merchants follow to treat the others with the honesty, and to treat the other thing with the reputation, as the profits with the sense of honor' of business morals, leaving footprint of trustworthiness in the management.In feudalistic society, Huizhou merchants' success comes from obeying the trustworthiness consciousness carefully, and comes from transform the orientation to the society.uizhou merchants' preaching the righteousness, valuing trustworthiness in the management consciousness because of formation in economic ages in small agriculture, only is limited by acquaintance , namely among friends .So just as a kind of morals power, it complete is maintained by endocentric that kind of conviction among businessmen .Just because it is a kind of morals power, so it not is a law norm, having no the law binding force, also lack to fail in promise namely of make the roughly mechanism. Its trustworthiness consciousness appears the on behalf civil case law consciousness for the very difficult growth with being opposite with this of duty ethics spirit oHuizhou merchants' the trustworthiness in the management consciousness ,though there is a lot of shortages , obviously for current market economy developments and harmonizing social developments, is still kind of spirit resources.
