The problem of occupied territories is the core of the conflict between Palestine and Israel. Israel had refused to return all occupied territories to Palestine, which became the main obstacle to realize lasting peace between Palestine and Israel. This paper attempt to expose Israeli long-term consideration by analyzing Israeli politics and practice in the Palestine occupied territories.This paper consists of six chapters. The first chapter bristly reviews the plans and practices formulated by labor party on the occupied territories. The second chapter studies the policy changes after Likud Bloc taken power and looks back its main policies. The third chapter analyzes the differences of the both parties in the national unity government, and introduces Israel how to adjust its policy according to the international situation. The fourth chapter looks back the policy features of different governments and the influence on the peace progress after Oslo accords. The fifth chapter summaries the common measures taken by the two parties to maintain occupancy. In the following chapter, it draws a conclusion on the features of different policies, adopted respectively by the two ruling parties, and figures out the trend of the policy on the occupied territory that could be taken by Israeli.This paper shows Israeli history by tracking back and studding Israel policies in the occupied territories, it will help us to understand the present complex situation between Israel and Palestine, and provide a new thinking to solve Israel-Palestine conflict.
