Subjective Well-Being is closely related to Marital Quality. SWB influences marital quality deeply and vice versa. This thesis starts from the analysis of the current situation of young military officer's Marital Quality, SWB, personality and social support. It goes on with the research of the relationship between Marital Quality and SWB, and comes to the conclusion that personality andd social support can serve as mid-variables, using path analysis to validate how SWB influences Marital Quality through personality and social support.In this study, 325 questionnaires were sent to young military officers, all of whom are selected from a military academy at random. 302 valid answers were received. The following conclusions have been made from this survey. Firstly, Marital Quality of the military personnel, as a whole, is lower than the normal, and varies with their life styles, unit characters, family incomes, dependents jobs and education background. Secondly, their score social support is obviously above average, while their score in SWB is below average, finally, SWB, personality and social support have positive effect on Marital Quality; SWB erts indirect influence upon marital quality through personality and social support.
