A Study On The Relationship Between Subjective Well - Being And Personality And Social Support In Urban Occupational Women

In recent years, the study of subjective well-being has become a hot research topic in domestic psychology field, well-being research selects most social groups such as students, teachers, the old people as the research object, related research on the urban career women are scarcely. However, career women have become an indispensable part in social production and living, no matter family role or social role of labor, they all play an important part on the development of social politics, economy, culture. This paper intends to study the feature of the urban career women’s SWB, study personality and social support’s influence on career women’ subjective well-being. It helps understand contemporary career women’s character of well-being and elements better, so as to be theory support for career women to adapt to social development, improve the quality of life.On the basis of consulting and analyzing related literature, this paper study the present situation and feature of the urban career women’s subjective well-being,research the influence of personality and social support on SWB, This study selects 220 career women in Shenyang, Dalian, Liaoning province, with effective questionnaire survey to 200,the results show that:1、In marital status, level of education and professional type, the urban career women’s subjective well-being has no significant difference, which has significant differences in income.2、The urban career women’s subjective well-being has an positive and significant correlation on the extraversion of the big five personality, the gay and conscientiousness, which has significant and negative correlation on neuroticism. Subjective well-being has positive and significant correlation on family support and friend support, and others support of social support.3、The rigor of big five personality has significant positive prediction function on subjective well-being of the urban career women, neuroticism dimension has significant and negative prediction function on subjective well-being of the urban career women.4、Friends support, family support, and others support of social support significantly and positively predict urban women’s subjective well-being.5、Three aspects of social support has a mediating role between the rigor and subjective well-being of the big five personality.
