| Location words play an important role in Modern Chinese Grammar System, and they take a special place in modern Chinese. On the basis of reviewing and making some comments on several points of view that matters location words in modern Chinese, this paper mainly analyse four aspects:1, the definition, types and range of the location words in modern Chinese;2, the syntectic function of the location words in modern Chinese;3, the semantic traits of the location words in modern Chinese;4, the pragmatic traits of the location words in modern Chinese.Through the research of a great many of language materials, this paper reasonably explains the definition, types and the range of the location words, and scientificly analyse the traits of the location words on syntax, sematics and pragmatics, and thus provides a reference for the further research of the location words and for teaching on grammar. |
