Zhejiang Police Personality Rating Scale For The Preparation Of Studies

Economy development brings the need for higher social security and better mental health of police. Based on theory, especially the lexical hypothesis, and experimental research work, the research firstly defined the construct of police's personality and compiled Police's Personality Scale,Various methods are used in the whole data process, such as factor analysis, correlation analysis, case study, etc. the conclusions are followed:1. The research suggest the construct of police's personality, including sixteen characters such as passion, cooperation, sociability, communion, emotion-controlled, self-possession, stability, conscientious, justice, self-command, plan, self-cognitive, promptness, self-confidence, decision, braveness, etc, and five dimensions such as acceptance, emotional traits, responsibility, intelligence, high-hearted, etc. model was tested rational.2. On the basis of the above construct, the research compiled Police's Personality scale has eligible reliability and validity.3. We found current condition of Police's Personality and found that the police proved more significant in responsibility than in other dimensions.4. There's no difference between the Police's personality in gender, age and marriage and some difference in working time, graduated school and eddution degree. Those with one-year experience are better in intelligence than others and those with one-to-five-year experience are worse in emotional traits. Those graduated from police college are better in emotional traits than those graduated from general school. Graduates are better in acceptance than those with lower education degree.This research enriched the theories of police's personality. It is of great contribution both in theory and in practice.
