IntroductionThis part shows the goal and the value of the thesis ..And give a brief introduction of the studies by local and foreign scholars. The first chapter: Understand the Tudor EnclosureThe thesis give a new timeline of the Early Enclosure Movement. Then it gives a detail discussion upon the meaning of enclosure. Finally some evaluations of the scope of Tudor movement are provided.The second chapter: A survey of England agricultural land and enclosure before TudorThis chapter contains four part. It is a analysis of England agricultural land and enclosure before Tudor. Topics such as common pasture in arable land ,use of regulated meadow and waste, economic management of village are discussed here. Fifteenth century enclosure and village land holding are also mentioned. The third chapter: A survey of Tudor Enclosure MovementThis chapter settled two common question using adopting scholars' viewpoints. Then it focus on the restoration of England population and land crisis in the sixteenth century. We find out raise sheep after enclosure is profitable not for woolen price is high but due to a change in agriculture structure.The final part titles as eager to land and enclosure. It introduces all class is involved in the enclosure movement but yeoman and gentry obviously have been the main impellers. The forth chapter: Feudal landlord and enclosureThis chapter analyses the motivation and the reason of feudal landlord against enclosure in Tudor. And this part point out that feudal landlord experienced a idea change upon enclosure during this period. ConclusionThis part is a brief summary of viewpoints.
