Kong Cong Zi is a collective book which recorded Confucian descendants from Kongzi and Zisi to Jiyan in Post-Han dynasty, which has important values to study Confucian. However, since there was not any records in Han History, this book has been viewed as an apocrypha and overlooked for long. With some materials of Pre-Qin dynasty found and unearthed, more revisions or restudies has been given to Kong Zi Jia Yu , so has Kong Cong Zi which now has little recognition since the affection of the history and the scarce of the materials, especially in the aspect of the book's name, volumes, collective and studying problems, if it is an apocrypha or a canon and its author problems, its written time and original sources, its versions development and studying value, and so on. Having studied various research summarizations, we sum up and analysize its studying situation and results, then we collect all these problems as five views which have been given analysis and comparison. Moreover, from the literature works and collective works we collect the citations that also have been compared with each other, as telling us that this book was not written by one man or in the same period but has been complemented and revised by Confucian descendants in various periods, so has Lian Cong Zi. The last author who collected and complemented this book was Kong Xian in Wei and Jin dynasty. The actual time when this book was completed on the second year in Huangchu of Wei dynasty. All the resources of this book are both from Pre-Qin dynasty and Confucian descendants in Han and Jin dynasty.
