The Literary Value Of The "tube"

Works produced by pre-Qin philosophers under the background of generalized literature,have the innate nature of the narrow sense of literature in modern singificance.This thesis analyses and demonstrates the literature value of Guanzi deeply and comprehensively by using"the analytic methods of elements."As to the author,the time of Guanzi's being written and the school of thought of Guanzi,different people have different opinions.The thesis's first part take one viewpiont,namely,Guanzi is a collective work by Guangzhong school,the majority of articles is written in the mid-and-late period Warring States,on the basis of displaying predecessors'research results in brief.It forms the argument foundation of this thesis.Guanzi contains thoughts of various philosophers,but it doesn't subordiante to any one of them.The comprehensive nature is its prominent characteristic.As the representative of Qi culture in pre-Qin time,the primitive legalist school thought permeates the whole book,in other words,the thought of"morality and power",the thought of"rewards and punishments carried out impartially to realize social order,implementing Rite rules".So the book Guanzi directly serves the need of Tianqi government's trying to become the ruler of the whole world.Guanzi with colorful literature styles,is decided by actual conditions of the above.In addition,the thesis's first part displays the current research about its artistry skills carefully.And it is also suggested that we must pay more attention to Guanzi's actual condition,especially ,the potential influence made by the collective authors,the time and the school thoughts on Guanzi's artistry showings if more achievements are made.It is a need to analyze its whole structure to master Guanzi from macroscopic view.It is also a need to trace the cause of language formation for the language reserch.The guideline to analyse and demonstrate under culture background is decided.The second part of this thesis mainly demonstrates the structure of Guanzi as a whole,called a main tune with three additional parts which enrich the main tune gradually,"Neiyan"is the thought origin,"Jingyan"is the systematization and theorization of the former."Waiyan"is the result of the reasonable development for"Jingyan".Finally,"Zapian"is formed with a hundred philosophers'mixed thoughts."Neiyan"establishes the main melody which involves how to construct a country."Jingyan","Waiyan"and"Zapian"concentrate on how to do it well from different angles.During this kind of repetition,changes and new thoughts appears.The essence for this kind of structure is the fact that Guanzhong school collects Guanzhong's words and deeds,then theorizes Guanzhong's thoughts primarily,and then absorb other philosophers'valuable thoughts with the changes of social situation.This is a process of elaborating and supplementing Guanzi's thoughs repeatedly and unceasingly.
