Italian Trans-avantgarde Art evolved from late 1970s to early 1980s. Its style and spirit were both basically the same as Neo-Expressionism. The evolving and prosperity of Trans-avantgarde Art were related to following aspects: the culture consciousness of Italian artists, national art tradition, social reality and foreign culture. Meanwhile, they also indirectly reflected the social attitude and the art specialty of Neo-Expressionism all over the world. The well-known Italian critic Achille Bonito Oliva praised highly and support Trans-avantgarde Art, which flourished and grew strengthen under the guidance of Oliva 's Culture Nomadism and certain ideology, such as Wander. It was the epitome of Post-modernist Art in Italy. Its becoming the intersection of Western Modern Art and Post-modern Art plays an important role in world development until present day. Trans-avantgarde Art in Italy inherited the tradition of Italian art, while integrating domestic art regularity and imbibing various kinds of art styles of Italy. Its developing process worth using for reference for China. And it has a certain enlightened significance to the development of Chinese Modern Art.
