The special pattern is an important content in modern Chinese grammar study. In addition to Ba sentence pattern, Bei sentence pattern, You sentence pattern is also a special pattern commonly used in modern Chinese. At present, we don't do much study of You sentence pattern. In this dissertation, We select You sentence pattern to do some research, under the guidance of three-dimensions grammar, valency grammar, case grammar and speech act theory, try our best to do more comprehensive analysis and description of You sentence pattern.The dissertation consists of foreword and fifth chapters. The foreword introduces the definition of You sentence pattern, the significance and value of this study, its grammar and study idea, the source of corpus. The first chapter makes an overall review we do of You sentence pattern in the past, summarizes the results and the problems. The second chapter analyzes the syntactic structure of You sentence pattern. The predication type as the basis of division, we divide the basic pattern into single-word form, verb-object form, verb-complement form, consecutive-verb form, subjective-object form and adverbial-centered form. The structure of non-basic pattern is the same as basic pattern. The third chapter describes the case type which the preposition "You" marks. The cases include agentive, locative, cause, source, material and manner, agentive is common, manner seldom appears. We summarize the verbs which cases connect with and analyst them. The fourth chapter classifies the verbs in basic You sentence pattern on the basis of valency, describes the sentence frameworks of basic pattern, simple sentence patterns are main, complicated sentence patterns are less. It shows that the semantic structure of You sentence pattern is not complicated. The fifth chapter describes the using frequency of You sentence pattern exist in different text styles and its pragmatical function. The using frequency of You sentence pattern in styles of writing and drama is high. The pragmatical function of You sentence pattern includes Assertives, Directives, Expressives and Commisives. Assertives function is main.
