Gabriel Fauré, the earliest participants of national philharmonic, is one of the most influential and representative composer of mélodie with abundant opuses. He created more than 100 opuses in his 60 years of life, including vocal suites such as"La Bonne Chanson","La Chanson dˊèVE","Le Jardin clos". The most famous opuses"Après un Rêve"(1865) and"Clair de Lune"(1887) were classified as prerequisite of enrollment in the Royal College of Music, London.This thesis analyzes the structure of three opuses of Gabriel Fauré,"Après un Rêve","Clair de Lune"and"L'hiver a cessé"from harmony, tonality, piano accompaniment texture, interval and sounds aspects. Also, based on own concert experience and combined with Fauré's creative features, this thesis conducts the research about the libretto language processing, rhythm management, breath handling and tone preparing, then, summarizes the creative style and feature of Gabriel Fauré.
