Zen Ji Proverb

Proverb is a language unit that is popular and spoken language. Proverb is not only the language unit that people often use in daily life, but also the language unit that is used in spoken language literature. Zen books are looked as one of the spoken language literature of Tang and Song Dynasty, so, proverb is one of the important language unit of Zen books. Before, in academic circles, scholar studied proverb mainly from still angle, but not from dynamic angle to study it. This thesis study proverb that is in Zen books to reveal flexibility of proverbs from the dynamic angle .This thesis includes below several substance:The first chapter is an introduction to proverb. In academic circles, difference of proverb nature always exists. To define proverb nature, we define the standard of proverb.The second chapter is the structure of proverb in Zen books. This chapter from still and dynamic angle, analyse the word structure and grammar structure of proverbs to show the feature of proverb in structure.The third chapter is semantic meaning of proverbs in Zen books. Substance of this chapter is the focal point and difficult of this thesis. In Zen books, because of Zen idea and thought way, proverb appear many semantic meaning changing form. Substance of this chapter is to analyse the changing form from dynamic angle. So, we can show the rich feature of proverb's semantic meaning in dynamic course.The forth chapter is the use of proverb in Zen books. In this chapter , we analyse use way and function of proverb in Zen books.
