Putonghua Proficiency Test Score Sonogram Recognition

The thesis is centered at study on grading system for Putonghua test made by computer, a sub-subject under research on the Putonghua test, an important program that is included in the "tenth 5-Year plan" for scientific research on application of language for State Language Commission of China for 2003 led by my tutor professor Wang Yuguang. The thesis aims at the realization for the clear and accurate judgments on correctness, wrongness and defects for grading standard for Putonghua test by the comparison and analysis on numerous pronunciation materials.The thesis subtracts the pronunciation materials from National Proficiency Test of Putonghua paper No. GT1. The pronunciation materials include words, phrases and sentences made by Zhao Ting and Cong Gui. The thesis refers to the theory reasoning and research conclusion for experiment pronunciations. The thesis adopts the computer program speech analyzer to draw wave form, custom pitch and spectrogram and makes detailed analysis on them. The thesis targets to judge the correctness, wrongness and defect scientifically during the grading progress of Putonghua test, which will avoid the subjectivity to the maximum when grading for Putonghua test and improves the quality of Putonghua test effectively.
