Vocational technical education is an important part of our country's existing educational system and the national innovation system. With the large-scale development of vocational education, students in vocational schools gained more and more attention. They have poor academic achievement and lots of mental problems. Among those problems, female students gradually express serious bullying behaviors. Studies on actualities of bullying problem and its related factors can help to improve girls'living environment, and it also can offer theory bases to vocational technical education's reform and development. Sex-role Identity means perception and belief on one person's masculinity or femininity. Generally sex roles are divided into four categories, which are masculinity, femininity, undifferentiated, and androgyny. Androgyny was recognized as the perfect sex-role identity in recent years. Bullying behaviors are related with gender difference, and then sex roles identity of female students are likely to be related to bullying behaviors.Using Olweus Bullying/victimization Questionnaire and BSRI Sex Role Questionnaire, the present study investigated 488 schoolgirls from 7 vocational schools in Shandong province through group sampling method. The results are as follows:1. Severe bullying problems of girls exist in vocational schools. 11.7% victims (3.4% severe victims), 7.8% bullies (1.2% severe bullies), and 3.7% bully/victims are involved in bullying behaviors.2. Direct verbal bullying has the highest rate of occurrence(34.8%), and the next is indirect bullying(34.2%). The ratio of direct physical bullying is the lowest(10.8%). 11.2% girls think"sexual bullying and sexual harassment"as a part of bullying styles.3. Concerning attitudes towards bullying, scores on emotional reaction are significant higher than behavioral tendency, which shows schoolmates always express empathy rather than the real help.4.
