This topic is about the study on the momentum of music learning. The system of learning momentum, which is rather complex, consists of learning need, learning target, learner's confidence and emotion. Among them, learning need and target are the source and core of learning momentum, learner's confidence plays an important role in sustaining and regulating, and learner's emotions is vital to stimulate the learning momentum. So, some suggestions and advice could be provided for the music teaching and learning, in order to meet the needs of the new class standards and therefore to better fulfill the task of music education.
