Ink Involved In The Design

As a practical art, design has extended to economy and life in our society. With the gradual change of contemporary human value and life style, it has gained increasing life vitality and wide influence, which has provided contemporary painting more fresh nutrition than any time in the history. Besides its practical function, it is exposing more and more independent appreciation value. The development of the contemporary civilization has transformed many our traditional value and broken the old art boundary.The traditional boundary of painting and design has become vaguer and vaguer, which lead to the combination of two concepts. Although the Chinese ink painting is a primitive art form in China, with the change of the Chinese cultural ecology, it has gradually merged into the Western living model. In this cultural context, the introduction of ink art into design is good for the development of Chinese design and the formation of design style with Chinese characteristic. The consumption trend of absorbing ink into design has become a public demand, which is fit for the social cultural background. So it is meaningful and significant to evaluate the combination of the two elements with the two adjectives "creative" and "traditional". Therefore, it is helpful for the development of Chinese design to promote the exchange and combination of ink painting and design in value and form.The thesis found the active effect of the combination of ink painting and art design on varifying of design style through surveying the origin, analyzing its cultural background and methods and affording some examples.
