Wen Yiduo is an important poet, the scholar and the democratic warrior in the Chinese modern history of literature, the representative poet of New Moon Society who lead the literature tidal current. He not only was an outstanding poet, but also emphasized the exploration of the free verse written in the vernacular theory . Xu Zhimo once said in "Brave fighter Collection Foreword": "Yiduo is not only a poet, but also is the one who was interested in poem theory and art. His new rules and forms of classical poemtheory "the standardization" has an important contribution to the Chinese free verse written in the vernacular. The present paper take his poem study thought as the central proposition, altogether can be divided into three major parts, carries on the discussion and the elaboration systematically.In The first part, Wen Yiduo's poetry development path was introduced and his distinctive quality as a patriotic poet and his vernacular nationality's theory exploration to the free verse were elaborated. In the article Wen Yiduo was compared with Xu Zhimo and Zhu Hunan, other two poets of New Moon Society, to express their differences In the free verse writing in the vernacular performance spiritual content And gives the new limits to Wen Yiduo and New Moon Society's relations. The article also carries on the comparison between Wen Yiduo and Guo Moruo to Elaborate the distinctive quality of Wen Yiduo. And through the creation practice contrast, manifested their difference in he vernacular creation idea to highlight Wen Yiduo's creation principle of controlling emotion with rationality .This part also elaborated the vernacular nationality's theory of Wen Yiduo about the free verse writing. He criticized the"goodness"of Guo moruo for it is over-Europeanized and proposed that China's free verse must be written in the vernacular way, the poem must have"the local color", namely national characteristic.He has the bright local color about the free verse writing in the vernacular nationality's theory.The second part mainly elaborated the theory of "three beauty",Wen Yiduo's quite famous theory. This part starts first to elaborate the historical background on which the Wen Yiduo poetry theory produces. At the birth of the free verse, there was discussion to the vernacular theory .Although these articles has some penetrating judgments, actually pauses in the exterior research, is mainly about the vernacular social effect and the thought ethics value judgement level. Although some refer to the research of the esthetic value and the form of poem itself , but mostly lacks of the theory of modern thinking.. In order to create "the Chinese type" t free verse writing, Wen Yiduo proposed "free verse should be written by Chinese classical poetry rules" , originated the poem theory of "three Beauty", namely "the beauty of music ,the beauty of drawing ,the beauty of constructin ". This part unifies Wen Yiduo's creation practice of "" in which the main connotation has been carried on full elaboration, trying hard to clarify theory concept fuzziness about " Three Beauty "in the educational world. At the same time , propose own understanding.The third part, Wen Yiduo not only explored the theory of modern Chinese classical rules but also put it into practice .While his poetry anthology "Red candle" is by half classical rules, the poetry anthology "Stagnant water" was nearly orderly standard classical Chinese poetry rules body .
